Palmyra Township hosts a recycling site for residents of the Township. It is located at the township building parking areas off Gumbletown Road. The township continued providing recycling to its residents when Pike County discontinued its program. It has proven to be very successful. It is open to township residents Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to Noon. Household trash is also collected on Saturday mornings at a cost of $7.00/bag.

The Township also hosts a “Clean Up Day” usually held in June. Recently e-cycling has been added. A nominal fee is charged for discarding household items. A metal container is available all year long for residents to discard any metal items. The money realized from selling those materials is donated to the local food pantry.

CLEAN UP DAY 2023 will be held June 3, 2023 8:00 AM to Noon.  Electronic recycling will also be available for Palmyra Township residents at no charge.  Proof of residency will be required.

Voting is also done at the township building both at the spring and fall elections. Voter registration forms and absentee ballots are available at township office. Dog license applications are also available at the township offices. Both forms are available under the Forms tab on our website.
